Daren Hughes watched is wife through the slits of the 
mini blinds from his darkened office. She was berating 
his voluptuous secretary for not having her papers 
ready.

"Mrs. Hughes, please just come into the Notary's office 
for the sign off," the younger woman said. "You can 
leave your purse here." Mrs. Hughes slammed down the 
coat and purse with impatience and followed the woman.

The Party - Chapter 4

I was attended to again in my dungeon. The sharp edge was removed from under my knees, making the hard stone of the floor seem almost soft. My posture collar was removed. My legs were unbound, allowing them to flex for the first time in at least four days. The muscles screamed as blood rushed back into them, and I whimpered in silence. 

Chapter Three

      Joyce felt like she was choking with the thick black leather collar snugged tight on her neck.  She was sobbing softly as the guard tugged her along by the leash clipped to the band around her throat.  Her hands were pinned behind her, the leather cuffs on her wrists were snapped together in the small of her back and she could feel the cuffs around her ankles as the high heels she wore clapped on the cement floor.

5 – Wolfhome

 I was surprised to find that I really did like Wolfhome. The pine forests and magnificent mountains were very unlike the dry deserts and constantly wind-swept oceans of Cetious IV. I breathed deeply of that fresh air and found myself really liking this place. Between the pines and ferns, there was a lot of green around me, and I found that pleasing. A clear blue sky overhead and the gentle singing of birds stirred something within me, a longing I hadn’t even known I had.

CHAPTER 25 Unpacking The Slaves

Karen and Tawny were both apprehensive until they had pried off the tops of both
shipping crates and removed a portion of dense, molded foam to reveal henry and
amy's talcum-coated backs.  They were both breathing and had good color.  The
balance of the unpacking process was a bit more intricate, so Tawny asked Karen
to follow her example.  Tawny would unpack henry while Karen unpacked amy.
